
Seniors Life Enhancement Centres offer a variety of stimulating social and recreational activities designed to enhance the quality of life of our clients.
8:00 - 9:30 am: Arrival, coffee and tea, small group chat, newspapers
9:30 - 10:00 am: Tabletop activities, one-to-ones, board games and word searches
10:00 - 10:30 am: Morning discussion, current events, theme topics and trivia
10:30 - 11:30 am: Morning activities, small and large group programs (i.es. physical games, arts and crafts)
11:30 - 12:30 pm: Exercise and indoor walking program
12:30 pm: Lunch, followed by dessert, tea and coffee
1:30 - 2:30 pm: Afternoon activities: small and large group programs (i.e. baking, trivia)
2:30 - 3:00 pm: Afternoon snack
3:00 - 4:30 pm: Large group program (i.e. bingo, cards) and close up crew
4:30 - 5:30 pm: Individualized programs (i.e. word search, puzzles)

Social activities promote social interaction within the group and provide cognitive stimulation. They include programs such as;

Physical Activities Physical activities assist in maintaining and / or improving physical condition; they include programs such as;
Both Programs offer a seated exercise program everyday. The exercise consists of stretching, breathing, strengthening and fun. Our exercises have been approved by the specialized Training and Exercise Participation Program.
The clients are encouraged to walk while at the Centres and staff provide assistance to those who need it.
